HTML5, CSS3, jQUERY, PHP

HTML5 is a core technology markup language of the Internet used for structuring and presenting content for the World Wide Web. It’s what makes your website function and at Wired Progress we work to the latest standards and take into account a holistic approach, which includes SEO and streamlined coding techniques.

“CSS” is an acronym for Cascading Style Sheets, a web-based markup language used to describe the look and formatting of a website to the browser. CSS3 allows developers to build content-rich web pages with relatively lightweight code requirements. That means fancier visual effects, better user interfaces and most importantly, cleaner pages that load faster than ever before. Simply put, CSS3 is the presentation layer of a web page that leads the charge for all of the other technologies buried within.

jQuery is a fast, small, and feature-rich JavaScript library. It makes things like HTML document traversal and manipulation, event handling, animation, and Ajax much simpler with an easy-to-use API that works across a multitude of browsers. With a combination of versatility and extensibility, jQuery has changed the way that millions of people write JavaScript. At Wired Progress we utilise JQuery to add more functionality to our websites in a way that works across browsers.

PHP code can be simply mixed with HTML code, or it can be used in combination with various templating engines and web frameworks. PHP has also evolved to include a command-line interface (CLI) capability and can be used in standalone graphical applications.
